1X5 Clear Douglas Fir E-Grade

Description

Clear finish grade Douglas fir. A lot of people ask “what is E-grade clear” Cee and better is the grade you will find most places, it is pretty nice but not necessarily perfect, and it is expensive, running $6.00 or more per board foot. E clear is 2 steps down in grade quality from Cee and better but it came off of the same mill and production. It will have pitch pockets and knots, some missing knots or splits but the material; between defects is exactly the same as the more expensive Cee grade, And it is 1/4 the price or less. so if you are cutting or you can rip into narrower widths or if you are handy at wood repair and patching this material will save lots of money. Also works well for paint grade wood trim.
